CM Misty Mist-1997 AQHA Mare

Picture
"Mare" is Johns mare he bought from the sand hills of Nebraska back in 2006.  She is trained roping and ranch mare, she is also patterned on the barrels.  Mare has a wonderful disposition and conformation that is hard to beat.  She has produced one foal for us, Diesel, who will be started under saddle fall 2011. Mare is a double bred Tiger Leo on the top and out of a Short Cut/Sheel Blow(Leo) mare.

Joe Mac Bugs- 2004 AQHA gelding

Picture
"Rusty" Jo got from a good friend when he was a yearling. Rusty has traveled all over with Jo and she has trained him for a wide variety of disciplines both western & english.  Rusty loves trail riding, ranch work, and working cattle the most. He is also loping a good barrel and pole pattern, loving and excelling in poles the most. Jo started to haul him lightly in 2011 to local barrel runs, but their year was cut short due to a family emergency in Iowa. They will be back competing in the 4 state region in 2013, keep an eye out! Rusty has a lot of greats in his pedigree such as Go For Bugs, Bugs Alive in 75, Go Man Go, Easy Six, Double Bid, War Machine, Leo, Three Bars.

King of the Roxy-2007 AQHA gelding

Picture
King is Johns newest cutting/reining prospect. Currently John has about 60 days of training on him in the arena and has been started on the flag, cattle, and trail rides. King is showing great potential to be a awesome all around gelding when he is finished. King is by Slide To Jamaica (Smart Chic Olena X Hurricane Jamaica (Ciclone)) out of Comos Leo Bird (Doctor Como(Son ofa Doc)X Blue Leo Bird (Doc Clabber/War Leo)).

Joyful Storm- 2001 AQHA mare

Picture
"Tequila" came off the track and is Jos main barrel horse. This mare had a great deal of issues when she came to us but Jo and her clicked.  Now you will find them doing anything from arena work to trails and road riding to ranch work. This mare shows a great deal of promise as a top notch barrel horse and Tequila thoroughly enjoys it. Jo started lightly hauling her in 2011, loping in a standard pen she was placing in the 3D.  Sadly their year got cut short due to a family emergency in Iowa. They will be back in the four state region for the 2013 year, keep an eye out for them! Tequila is by Cape Storm, a son of the great Storm Cat and out of Magic Hope-SI 103, ROM & AAA daughter of Joyful Times & a Leo mare.

Sonitas Peppy Bar- 1999 AQHA mare

Picture
"Pepper" came from a good friend of ours by Omaha, NE. This mare has been used for anything and anybody on the trails, down the road, and on the ranch. She can work a cow, go swimming, or just relax for a beginner rider. She has produced 2 foals for a so far, a bay filly born in 2010 by Jos Thoroughbred stallion Omalis Buckaroo and a 2012 sorrel colt by Uh Huh Its A Playboy. This mare is by Uno Sonita, a son of the great Sonitas Last. She is out of a great Doc Bar/Leo mare.

Snazzys Easy-1984 AQHA Gelding

Picture

Snazzy" we got from an old friend of Jos back in 2009, he bought Snazzy when he was 8 months old and had him trained for reining.  Over the next several years, they did a lot of traveling, showing, and trail riding in the mountains of Colorado.  Snazzy is now retired and is enjoying living life in the pasture getting treats and scratching daily.

Diesel-2007 QH Gelding

Picture
Diesel is out of Johns roping mare CM Misty Mist and now gelding Jay Beyond Conclusive.  Diesel is a gelding that everybody loves, he's the horse that follows you around everywhere and wont leave you alone. Although John has ridden Diesel a couple times, he will not start his training until spring 2013.  Diesel will be a great all around horse, he shows a lot of potential for cattle work, speed events, western pleasure, trail, and maybe even some english.  This picture was taken just before his 3 year old year.

Mr Strawberry Twist-2005 AQHA Gelding

Picture

"Steve" is a gelding we got in a trade back in 2009.  He came to us with a lot of holes in his training and a lot of issues on the ground. After months of re-training, Steve is now a horse that anyone can ride and not a lot bothers him. He has tracked cattle, worked the flag, worked out of the boxes, roped a few steers, trotted the barrels and poles, and used on trails.  This gelding is in training for roping but also has a great desire to get down and cut a cow. This picture was taken in July 2011 working the flag a little bit.

Kings Cutter Sunbar-2010 AQHA/NFQHA/APHA Filly

Picture

"Peanut" is a cutting/barrel prospect. Currently Peanut is registered in the AQHA and NFQHA associations, we are working on getting her registered in the APHA. Peanut should mature to 14.2/14.3 hands. She has great conformation and a disposition that many people love. Pea

Dunbar Alibi-2006 AQHA gelding

Picture

"Doc" currently has about 90 days of training on him. We have started him on the flag and tracking cattle; he shows great promise! Doc is also used to check fences, cattle, and go on trail rides. He has also been started on the barrels & poles, trotting good patterns. Doc is triple bred Doc Bar along with other greats of the foundation QH world. Doc stands 14.3 hands, 1100 lbs.

Omalis Last Buckaroo-2010 AQHA filly

Picture

"Tiny" is the last foal by of Omalis Buckaroo, she is out of Sonitas Peppy Bar. This filly is one of our barrel/rope prospects. Shown here as a long yearling, she will mature to 16 hands and be a big sized mare. Tiny will be started under saddle in 2013.

Sonitas Peppy Playboy(pending)-2012 AQHA colt

Picture
"Jim" is our youngest cutting prospect out of our cutting/ranch mare Sonitas Peppy Bar or Pepper. He is by a friends cutting stallion Uh Huh Its a Playboy (Playboys Uhuh). We have big plans for this guy, but for now he is growing and enjoying life with his mama out on pasture.
